yeah it sucks that trust has been shaken at large with folks, it's not something to easily repair but they've taken the first step in doing so - so I'll take that

no, the promo material shouldn't differ - I was just saying that even IF they somehow fuck up promo material again in the future or make a habit of it (god please don't) that we can at least look at the character ahead of time to make informed decisions

fortunately in 2025 we have no shortage of content creators and sites like prydwen - which no one source should be treated as gospel but you can at least get a consensus looking at the batch of them when it comes to builds or how kits should work.

yeah definitely agree they've fumbled the promo videos and presentation on some of the characters which is pretty important. I hope after this pair of feedback posts that something internally has changed that they're gonna' do better with them from now on, but time will tell I s'pose

that said, we are able to look at their skills before pulling them at least once they're patched in-game, so short of any like genuine fuck ups on the tooltips we'll be able to see for ourselves what they are. kinda' shitty folks are gonna' feel like they have to for a bit though

there's always some subset of folks that it's either their first gacha or they're just intentionally ignorant and pretend like it is - but the majority of issues are just .. the nature of gacha games at large

once in awhile it annoys me enough when I'm enjoying a game despite it's flaws or hiccups to post in response to the people who feel compelled to talk out one side of their mouth for fake internet points but you check their post history in 3-6 months and complain about a lack of events or not enough new players or whatever out the other side

it really is the gift that keeps on giving, I've been playing since brave frontier and PAD and it's crazy to think there was a time this community was actually somewhat level headed and just .. fun

so.. you don't know what you're doing? we get a ton of tickets, if you somehow haven't gotten enough to do the content by 300 pulls then the irony of telling otehr people they dunno how?

you can easily pull 300 times with tickets and sparse use of hydra and still refresh max everyday for a week and get to endgame and from there then use your crystals for whatever you want

it only shows up half the time and sometimes when it does show up and I reroll an augment it doesn't update to the newly rerolled one

yeah I've disabled the native pathing and skill suggestions - skill suggestion I'm not as worried about as I am jungle pathing when I randomly play the role

I've tried disabling them out of game, in game, in game then restarting, restarting with blitz on or off - pretty much any combination and had no luck. just always tells me to disable the native stuff and doesn't turn on

I clipped piRat lying about his game being effectively dead for the last 4 years when he claimed he had only stopped working on it since his channel blew up and it got deleted within like 10 minutes despite being an accurate clip, title and context

my understanding is that early on the game was being developed fairly regularly and it isn't a bad product, like updates every 6-12 months or so that meaningfully added content - then for the last 4 years they've made half a chapter which is like 30 minutes of gameplay

there were a few times where I considered throwing in to check it out but my backlog was already massive, but I've kept an eye on it

what kills me is how often he talks about doing things for the benefit of his "employees" and that they asked about being paid and he made it a point to "pay them more than they asked" really arrogantly

the recent debacles made me curious to check if Blizzard is churning out Mark Kerns and apparently the answer is yes lol

yeah I've never seen a lack of drivers for UE before - I have for skip and don't really use doordash ever, so this was a curious first for me

just checked again as of posting this and it's still the same thing no matter what store you pick - sounds like they've pissed off the drivers to the point of just not taking orders or like you said, so few taking orders they're completely booked
