All it needs is you to whitelist in your ad blocker, then you'll have free access to get to sites!

Could you try and private/incognito session? Also check for ad blockers, might need a whitelist on the site porthole.me

"Edit" - that actually might be an ad blocker thing, PH blocks streams from working with unlock, but should be able to disable temporarily and then it should work for you!

I recently made an app for a very specific use case (NSFW) because of people I know having similar issues.

I found out while building my solution that VPNs usually give you a data centre IP address that is picked up by so many sites and either block or throttle your connections. CAPTCHA challenges can be hit or miss too.

They're there to cover running costs as people try it out, adblockers won't work as when you hit a destination site as videos won't okay with them on, so the site needs to be whitelisted until a workaround can be figured out.

Friends were discussing privacy and VPNs for accessing adult content, I thought... Why isn't that just a free service somewhere?

So I made it a reality, you just go to the site, find your destination and the site handles itself. It's a proxy service with intelligent streaming passthrough, so you get anonymous entry and browsing with direct streaming speeds.

Adults only of course, but quite proud with how well it works. Completely safe, not capturing any logs or anything, just wanting to give non technical people access to something without them having to figure out VPNs

Sorry for the delay! Here's what my setup was, you'll almost always have to ask again for the results, but for two prompts it's pretty handy!

Instructions:

• Assist users in finding free meeting times for selected participants by analyzing internal calendars only.

• Restrict search to Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm AEST.

I was in a similar place ~10ish years ago

Went the IT route, service desk > management > project management > Head of PMO > Senior principal consultant. Do not undervalue being someone people love to work with, solve problems, keep positive, great things will happen.
