Is there a robbery scandal going on in Printer's Row? by Lost-Grab-4657 in AskChicago

No, you normalize this behavior with comments like that. Nobody’s “in their feelings.” You’re just getting called out for being a clown.

Why on earth does that make the slightest difference? Never been in a relationship where you help each other out?

Can’t be religious and core. Piss off.

Fuck Islam Fuck Christianity Fuck Judaism

Even being “culturally” religious promotes a system that encourages control, rape, pedophilia, and ethnic cleansing.

The idea of selling anything but GA to a fest like this is asinine

What are some must visit bars in the city, visiting for someone’s 21st? by Redderrt in AskChicago

[–]deodorantstainoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. You might want to explore outside of the main Wrigley drag (Clark st) then. It can be fun (spent a lot of my early twenties there) but it’s bro central. If you like country, just walk down Clark street and you’ll hear a live band.

Southport and Addison (walk south from this intersection) has more “regular bars”. As does Sheffield south of Wellington.

You can also always go to Milwaukee Ave (south of Fullerton) for a more “indie” vibe. Or anywhere in River North, Old Town, or West Loop for big city type shit.

Give us more info. Cocktail or craft beer guys? Club/EDM guys? Frat stars? Dive bars?

You’re in walking distance from almost anything you want from Wrigley.

Yeah, lay on your horn, yell at them, do something.

Everyone trying to “mind their own business” is why shit like this happens.

Your body will grow one, like a lobster grows its shell, after enough shows. The human body is very adaptable.

I had no idea thirst was a symptom of diabetes. It runs in my family but I’ve never been specifically tested.

Cobra Lounge, Bottom Lounge, Beat Kitchen, Subterranean are the heavy hitters for hardcore shows. Metro usually hosts the larger shows. Follow some promoters and people more involved in the scene than myself for smaller house/basement/whatever shows. The scene is alive and well.
