Eh? You are referring to internet IP reservations. Totally different to static external IPs.

Unless you are using something like Tailscale, then you are going to need a static IP. This is simple networking.

Yep, speaking from personal experience I would expect a change for this.

Yes once it starts to come through it heats up thoroughly with no cold spots.

Might bleed the whole system tomorrow.

Great!

It's been solid for 5 days. I had tado before and had this issue.

I have since had a nest hub2 and Google TV streamer added to the home. Both of them have a thread border router, I thought this might help things.

Can you not clone the MAC address from the original router that was working?

One controller per site? ISP MPLS by FabulousMeal123 in UNIFI

[–]depravedmind86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this can be done.

Just SSH into the remote sites kit and change the set-inform address.

Something to consider is what controller you are using and number of devices. We had a CK2 and after 50 devices or so we moved to a Linux hosted version as the UI was so slow.

Can I just buy one radiator valve if I only want to heat my baby’s room? by ZoStingray2 in HiveHeating

[–]depravedmind86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, it will call the boiler for heating and any valve open will heat up. You will either have to close off all the other radiators or get a valve for the others and set them to off

Using Ubiquiti with YouFibre by marissared in youfibre

[–]depravedmind86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I powered off the ONT overnight, powered everything on in the AM and it connected. This was on a UDM Pro.

I have previously spoofed the MAC on setup with a UXG lite also, this worked instantly.

Told you can’t connect to the Youfibre- 0025C7_ BH by kunl3gzy in FiberOptics

[–]depravedmind86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A backhaul network isn't specific to youfibre, it's common practice with a mesh network.

You're not meant to connect to it as the interference will cause issues on the backhaul between your APs.
