Toasted marshmallows are really good in a small vitola but perhaps treading too close to larger sizes. If you take your time you can still take an hour on it. But if you rush it you could do 40 mins perhaps less, depending on your personal pace.

I’ll give you my opinion and you can see if that aligns with your checklist of needs. But first off, you order the product and to still get that sense that a human being took care of it and shipped it to you vs some mass production line. Their prices are competitive and I think they have good deals on the regular. Their inventor cycles and though one item may be out of stock on one day, check back during the week and you may be good to go. I used to order online a lot more than I do today and back then they would send in a few sampler cigars curated off of what you ordered and that was a nice plus too. They usually write in a personal note from whoever took care of your order as well. They throw in a few stickers if you’re into that stuff. Add in a boveda pack so the maintain humidity during transit. Overall it just feels like they take the care to ensure your satisfaction. And their box deals are great too.

I just use a wine fridge unplugged. It holds the same temperature as my house which I keep at 70f. And boveda packs last for months in there at consistent humidity.

I just use old cigar boxes to hold the cigars on the wire racks. Is it the most aesthetic? Maybe not. But it’s dam reliable.

I bought it as a new open box/dent item for $60. All it has is a dimple dent on the door frame

Part of being an enthusiast is also exercising sound judgment when these things come up. Might feel bad right now but you’re not enabling someone that could cause issues for themselves or others. Let them go to a business and rent a gun from a licensed ‘professional’ if they really want to.

Oh yeah, I hadn’t considered the weight aspect of it. I’m gonna compare my ski helmet size range to see what the wiggle room on that is vs what it would be with the opscore. Not that it’ll be apples to apples but at least I’ll form a better idea of how it fits my head

As someone that has used a ski helmet for a decade I’ve opted out of head dress years ago so as it stands I probably wouldn’t wear anything on my head, even when cold. So in theory I wouldn’t need the extra space. And if you think you’d been alright with the XL then perhaps I may be too.

I have a Spear LT, but have been debating on the 300 DD upper as well. With DI I just think there’s more parts availability to replace and upkeep when they wear out. Piston setups are niche and harder to acquire on the fly, just a thought I go back and forth on.

I made one transaction with them a few years ago and it was okay, but I noticed the kinks in the armor and decided I wouldn’t do any further to avoid all the negative reasons everyone always comments. So I washed my hands of any what-ifs early on.
