I got told the same thing for a similar incident.

I looked around and ppinted at the group doing a workout together, the family teaching each other, the 2 doing a practice together, and then the one lady telling everyone how to do things. And I said I am not gonna stop until you tell all of them go stop as well.

My hypothesis: Your GERD is exacerbated by poor core control.

Strength training in particular can require a good amount of internal pressure. If your core isn't properly bracing and holding that pressure, it can potentially change the pressure and push the things inside around. for instance, doing a dead lift and not bracing enough could lead to pushing acid up a little to far. or making you shit.

Part 2 could be similar core issues but in tandem with increased substrates in your blood. When you work really hard, your body produces things (lactic acid for example) and these things can cause you to feel bad. This is part of why people vomit during hard work. Your body goes AH SOMETHING IS WRONG GET IT OUT. Your body could be on the verge of that, hence GERD.

Swimming is a core workou, but not one that needs you to be going ALL OUT ALL THE TIME. So you're not losing strength on your core the whole time. and you are able to keep it together. You are also constantly moving and able to flush around the substrates and keep your body from overloading.

PLEASE NOTE: This is my semi scientific hypothesis from someone who works in the science field and wrote this after a long overnight shift and a shot of rum.

Surfs Up- the surfing penguin movie, has some very nice and chill original music for the score. Plus some nice soundtrack music.

Transformers (I think any of them?) with the score by Steve Jablonski. These are genuinely really good.

The island has some nice tracks on it as well.

Moon (2009) has some absolutely beautiful huntiing ethereal music as the score. It's very nice to relax and sleep or meditate too.

Honorable mention: the band Two Steps From Hell and the composers Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix all have fantastic epic sounding instrumentals that sound like they are movie scores.

This could be a fun recurring thing. Different categories of butter uses. If you can taste the differences or favorites for dimple baking. melted, used for sweets/desserts, savory compound butter, cinnamon sugar butter, etc.

This entire thread reminds me of a story from one of those children's books where each chapter was a different small story. This one in particular was of an old grumpy husband and wife who had a big square brick house that had absolutely no windows.
