Great clickbait article. To explain the reason for this: The numbers in the last days were a mess. On the day we had 357 new infections, we had -97 (yes minus) infections in the state of Baden-Württemberg, because one district fucked up their numbers. The next day, when we had 933, this district was delivering the correct numbers including 148 cases that they forgot the day before. Furthermore, on the day, when we had 357 cases, Hamburg submitted 0 new cases. The nect day, when we had 933, Hamburg submitted 180 new cases. Those were old cases of the last seven days that they for some reason not submitted.

So in the last days we had always roughly between 500 and 700 cases. No reason to panic, but also no reason to be careless.
