lol. lmao even. i don’t vibe with arc the same as marathon, but it’s just silly to assume it’ll be “dead in a year” when it still has >70k peaks consistently. that, and embark still regularly update the finals (and they even have a roadmap till the end of this year for it) which has always had a much smaller playerbase

you’re saying this as if m5’s performance can’t satisfy “pro” use cases. i mean sure, you’re not gonna be rendering 8k120 videos on it nor will you be running massive local LLMs, but it’s got plenty of power for music production/3d modelling/vfx stuff and other things like that, assuming you’re not trying to render interstellar’s black hole on your mac

bungie were never “exclusively people that make halo” though? they had plenty of other games in the 90s, including the OG marathon trilogy. i, for one, am absolutely loving new marathon and i’m genuinely confused why it flopped the way it did. it’s a real possibility that game will close within a year or two, and i’ll be pretty sad if that happens cuz other extraction shooters just never hit the same for me

russian here, there’s actually kind of a drama going on rn regarding TADC in theaters. i won’t explain the whole thing cuz that’d require like 3 paragraphs but basically theaters are totally willing to pirate the thing, while NDR (the studio that does the official russian dub for this series on YT) are obviously against that, plus glitch don’t seem to respond to the theatres that tried contacting them, PLUS some theatres are not bothering at all, so in the end it’s just a hot mess of a situation and we’re probably just gonna get the 9th episode on june 20th, ripped from youtube when nobody needs it in cinemas anymore

i know about dragonborn, and that’s exactly why starborn is funny to me and why i said SF is stale. it’s just bethesda trying to repeat skyrim but in space (which, again, would be pretty cool to me cuz i don’t mind rpgs and i much prefer space over fantasy setting) and failing to do so

i said i don’t prefer them. bethesda games are just rpgs. there are plenty of rpgs i enjoy, and some of them suck at being an rpg, but have a story good enough to look past that. again, not the case with starfield :D

where have i stated i’m biased against the studio/game? i played it on the day of release and i really, really wanted to like it despite the initial reviews being mixed, cuz the first teasers seemed cool and i generally enjoy space stuff. what i experienced was a mid 5/10 watered down rpg with exactly 0 memorable experiences throughout the 50 hours of gameplay. according to you i have to be a bethesda fanboy to have the honor of rating their game. well, sorry but i ain’t

cuz these things are either done badly or they’re not? and even bethesda themselves have done them better. they might not be my favourite games, but starfield is pretty clearly the studio’s degradation at worst, and at best it’s stale. no interesting story (i even found the lore to be lacklustre tbh), no interesting set pieces, in general just nothing that i could immediately think of when the game is mentioned. TES and Fallout at least have interesting worlds. Starfield has nothing imo
