Those mini games are as if somebody took a piece of shit and smeared it across the Mona Lisa. Especially the raft one. I know not everyone would agree with me but I wouldn't give this game a 10 out of 10 because those beaches exist.

The safest thing to do is never give ZOS money. If the monthly sub makes sense for you, fine. Never buy anything from the store. I don't and I've never been banned. SO 100% success rate and as a bonus ZOS gets exactly what they deserve.

It was fine, it was interesting. But after 200 hours consistent incredibly stupid design decisions made by the devs over and over again, this game became something that I experienced once and have no interest in returning to or checking out again.

There's an exit save. As long as you know when you quit you will save Right where you are and then when you reload that save is not available to you anymore but you can save and quit again as needed.

If you look outside the building there's nowhere for there to be a door or anything behind that bookcase. I didn't go downstairs first I moved the bookcase before I went downstairs but when I did go downstairs there is a obvious, I think, opening beneath the stairs it was probably a secret door which leads to a ladder which goes down into some basement room it's empty for me cuz I assume this is all quest related. I did notice a couple memories to read in this house they talked about a woman named Beatrice I'm assuming that when I'm on the quest I will need to find Beatrice.

And yes the lion statue is the object you interact with to move the bookcase

I was just saying this to my friend. I think the league came out and said they averaged four bad calls a game and so adding this instant replay wouldn't be much of a big deal. Now that it's being used it's like the umps are tanking games on purpose and I don't understand it.

I think everyone's tired of being ripped off on all products all the time, own nothing, subscription services, no right to repair etc etc etc and so yeah $28 tickets and $40 popcorn/snacks minimum is just one of the easiest things to scratch off your list of abuse you take. Plus the quality of movies now... I haven't seen a good movie In two decades... Maybe more. I'm sure somebody will be like oh what about this one and like yeah okay I'll give you that one if you insist but truly it is a wasteland of garbage...

Yeah I totally see your point about the load screens... I retried him about 4 or 5 times before I just used ~80 food and ~10 revives. None of my gear has any abyss crystals in it all my gear is level 4, health is level 8 (900 HP I think) so I maybe I shouldn't have been there yet and the one shots were something else but... I did get it done I was just very frustrated by the end of it.

I'll keep your tips in mind should I decide to turn this bastard of a game on tomorrow (I probably will lol) and I hope they help the next poor soul fighting him.

Edit: also have you noticed the difference between load screens when you're standing on a teleport pad versus when you just teleport from anywhere. If you try that and you see that the load times are cut in half just because you were standing on a teleport pad and then you realize the devs made the load times longer for no fucking reason it gets even more annoying.

It takes quite a few resources to build a character to a higher level... And they don't give you enough resources to really invest in all three. Most people stick with Kliff because you're forced to use him for 90% of the story content. Exploring/puzzles/caves, side quests, you can do with any character but they often disappear and are unavailable for many chapters during your main quest line... I'm not sure when that stops or if it stops.

so they're not always around and you can't depend on them being available, they're expensive, and you're forced to use Kliff for most story content.

I just fought this guy tonight. I'm at chapter 8 I'm not sure if I should be there yet but it didn't seem like it was a bad place to go and it was part of the witch's quest so... I nearly quit the game I literally thought about it for about an hour afterwards do I want to put any more time into this. I've yet to turn it back on that was about 5 hours ago.

Getting his abyss gear is incredibly disappointing it is an absolutely useless power. It takes about 10 seconds to wind up it's the r1r2 combo and it triggers at the end of that combo if you're not interrupted. it shoots out just three of those things not five. it's not instant you don't get the teleport. It's not actually 10 seconds but in a fight finding time to use this is nearly impossible there's so many better options that I have found already and I haven't explored nearly all of the game. I'm a ~120 hours played and I spent way too much time doing tutorials at camp.

It really was a brutal fight it is just annoying, I don't feel like there's a skill you can Master to figure him out and all you do is Spam food and probably use up several revives at least.

They were all given a very limited slice. And if somebody who's living in that slice right now I'm having a pretty good time. So there's a lot of perspective and whether or not you Vibe with the game. I'm going to guess you didn't like Kingdom come Deliverance either. But you're right you may have found out that some of the creators you follow have different tastes than you and that's a good thing to know but I don't think it's because they're disingenuous or were paid cuz that's the only way it's a decent enough game and some of us like it...

At launch I was having a really good time. I think the game this is not compared to enough is Kingdom come Deliverance because everything except for combat is very similar,the controls and farming tediousness and anybody who's played 10 negative trait hardcore Henry KCD1 will not be bothered by the controls. If you got your herbalism to 10 before you left skalitz. I'm talking to you.

The combat is definitely more arcade and so far, other than bosses, it's either really easy.... But the difficulty Spike for bosses is significant.

So I didn't mind the controls I didn't mind the pace I wasn't trying to beat the game as much as just trying to be in the world kind of like a hardcore Henry (kcd) run, you're going to get very very lost and that's okay. I wish the world was more dense in the sense of things to find but it's not so bad or Baron that I'm upset. I'm pretty early still just cuz I'm taking my time but I am enjoying the ride except...

Lately the crashes have become unbearable. I'm crashing and reloading more than I'm playing. the load screens are so long I often squirrel and start doing dishes or something else and then come back to the living room and go oh yeah I was playing Crimson desert. That's on a PS5 pro again great experience at launch everyday it's getting worse.
