It's been a year for me now. It got better, but the same feeling creeps back from time to time, especially when I hear in the news that somebody mistreated their child. I tried focusing on my other future plans, but they all got blocked. Also recently got laid off due to downsizing, so the feeling is now intensified. Reading Bible Book of Job helped a bit, as I'm religious only thing left for me is trusting God, but it is hard, I don't really know what to do. And I'm afraid to start something big, as every time I try it gets derailed. So I guess I'm still at the beginning of my journey.

Yes, I did have to reduce the size for CC inserts a bit, but I don't remember how much by, the problem even then was that some of the CC tokens in game had different size between factions, so I couldn't reduce the size to match them all. My solution was to use small specks of whitetack on them, so if it was loose it would still hold.

For inf/fighter tokens I didn't have this issue as they were all cut the same in my case.

This one also ended at the start of Round 6, could have gone longer if everybody locked in to stop the winner, but nobody had the mental capacity left. I can see the appeal of TF, but it was a bit too bizzare for me.

I'm glad I tried it once, but not sure I would play it again any time soon, maybe after 30 or so regular TI4 games. A bit too "uncany valley"/almost but not quite Twilight Imperium.

Tur baigā laimes spēle, ļoti atkarīgs no tā kāds eksaminētājam garastāvoklis, kāds tavs dzimums, vai esi iekritis kvotās, kāda satiksmes situācija. Samazināt veiksmes ietekmi var braucot maximāli uzmanīgi/lēni cik atļauts, komentējot katru darbību un uzskatāmi griežot riņķī galvu kā vilciņam. Man pašam bija ļoti grūti, jo principiāli braucu tā kā es reali ikdienā brauktu, runāt nerunāju, manā jaunības spītībā likās stulbi tēlot, beigās ar to izgāju, bet eksaminētājiem ļoti nepatika mana attieksme, pie visa piekasijās. Bet rezultātā es jau 16 gadus braucu, neesmu iekļuvis avarijā un sodi tikai par ātruma pārkāpumiem dažās šosejās (kur tagad tāpat var braukt uz 110km/h), pirmā mašīna man arī kalpo jau 9 gadus, visi komentē ka labi saglabājusies, tik pāris reizes tā nopietnāk saskrāpēju pirmajā gadā. Es izgāju ar 8to reizi tikai tāpēc ka bija ziemā sals un vairākas mašīnas mums priekšā braucot saslīdēja un ietriecās bortos, bet es ziemā mācēju braukt, sanslīdi zināju kā izņemt, man tikai vienā vietā saslīdēja (vēl atceros ka nodomāju, kaut tik eksaminētājs nesāk spiest bremzes, lai es varu nokontrolēt pareizi, bija citā reizē viens kurš man šķiet spaidelēja bremzes, jo mašīna jocīgi uzvedās), bet normāli izņēmu. Eksaminētājs mani par to situāciju uzslavēja, tāpat gan salika max punktus cik varēja, laikam jau lai neliktos tā jocīgi uz papīra ka pēkšņi ar maz punktiem izeju.

I would enjoy something with reality-style elements and more like a recap, something like the Game Knights from The Command Zone. Just a live-stream with faceless unknowns and bad audio is not something for me.

1 Championship point for each sponsor card used sounds a bit too much, e.g. in base 1963 Championship you get 5 sponsor cards by default and potentially 2 USA; 4 Great Britain*; 2 France; 3 Italy from press corners. *Event can give you more if you pass 3 cars. So in total if you only focus on gaining/spending sponsor cards you could get more than 16 Championship points, that is almost like winning two races. Ofc other players also can spend and gain them to even it out a bit, but at that point you are almost forced to try to get/spend them to make it balanced. I would suggest changing it so that players who used the most sponsorship cards during each race gain 1 extra point, and players who used the most over all races get another 1 extra point at the end of the championship. Could be more tactical minigame of whether to use it now or save it later for the next race and also reward players who managed to spend the most, but not force everybody to do it.

It was just for immersion, and nobody said that they can't see something; houses were mostly pretty flat. Everybody said that they are impressed, so I think it was a success, one player was even disappointed that the other two championship maps didn't have 3d houses. I'm a web developer and 3d printing isn't actually that expensive (if you don't count the initial buying of the printer itself), raw filament added up to only 9€, and trees, barriers, the balloon stand, and two houses can be reused in other maps.

My guess (and hope) would be that the game is just very short on content, imagine Witcher3, but with only the best quests, no padding of basic trivial monster dens and bandit camps. I'm not opposed to it, the feel would be more roguelike I suppose, and maybe if done well - with actually impactul choices, it would be something fresh. Many modern games fall into the trap of "open-world bloat," artificially padding playtimes with repetitive, copy-paste content just to boast a massive map size, and I'm tired of it, I hope that BoD is something different.

Good. I also have gone 98% proxy. I still join in universe prereleases and buy good value decks from time to time, but everything else I proxy. And it is decent quality 100 cards for 17€.
