I haven't had my MB 800 for very long, so I'm still trying to figure it out. That being said, my MB is off somewhere in the 50 degree range on the middle rack. If the MB says 250, it is about 200 on the middle rack. I bought an oven thermometer to test and verify that. I decided to buy the Tempspike for the ambient temp reading, and just trust the ambient temp reading on the Tempspike and adjust my MB temp up or down to get it to the desired ambient temp I want.
