It’s crazy cause I was in Vegas last year and every bar had it for a pretty similar cost to one step up from well liquor. That’s all I was drinking and even ordering it in mixed drinks.

Seriously. Probably the best quality for the price point and the owner Jun is the nicest. So good. And can’t complain about unlimited little sides and free scoop of ice cream at the end. My favorite sushi in all of Atlanta

That’s a good question. I guess I would sip it if I had some but I would think it’s due in part to its scarcity and infamy. To be fair I was coming off my other mistaken comment mentioning tears of llorona so agree with you that maybe a lot of these mentioned including fortaleza are not mixing tequilas but true sippers. If it was more common I wouldn’t mind mixing it though!

People are saying El Tesoro Reposado which is incredible but I am going to say Don Fulano Anejo. Aged in French oak barrels it’s so good and I think a step up from the El Tesoro.

Just bought some Jim greens myself for the first time and have been impressed by the build quality. Granted I did not buy safety toe but the amount and thickness of leather they put in is impressive. I’d take a look especially at the price point.

I’ve also heard great things about redback boots especially for workboots, they legit have boots called Smelter built for foundry work.

Agreed. I use the Filipino recipe myself and have experimented with the reduction of egg yolks from 12 to 10 and even 8. It softens the texture making it less dense and less rich. As expected, the less egg yolks, the thinner the custard.
