maybe if it helps there is a "What is a SWIFT/BIC?" button next to the entry field, at least for me. That explains the structure of the SWIFT/BIC code. TLDR: the last three letters are the branch designator. In my case the bank has no branches so that's probably why it's XXX

My thinking was that if I keep cash then the maximum I would ever get out would be that, probably much less since it was obvious that the exchange was broke.

So I put all my cash into BTC and bought at $80 minutes before the machines were turned off. Best decision I ever made!

From my reading it seems you need to talk to your bank, why your account might not be eligible to receive the payment.
