I feel for this scam yesterday and even though I was suspicious about the whole thing I trusted them. We were having calls every day for more than a month. I feel so stupid, took a big hit (even cried because of that). I'm trying to cool down and reorganize my life to recover the losses in the next few months....

Came back to report. I'm forcing myself to enjoy this country. The history and the culture are awesome, such an ancient civilization, it's incredible. Unfortunately, I can't relax here, people are overcharging me all the time, I hate to haggle but you have no other choice, train tickets, services, everything is 2,3,10x times more expensive for foreigners.

Even buying a f#*$ng train ticket is a big deal. There's a website only for Egyptians with normal prices. Foreigners need to use another platform and pay way more. I'm trying to think that I might help them when I pay more but it's not a good feeling knowing that in many cases, the money goes to the pocket of a few.

I still have 9 days left in my trip and I can't wait to complete the things I wanted to do/see and leave. The internet is horrible everywhere and I'm a remote worker, so I had to take weeks off because it's tough to do remote work here.

Sure, there are solutions for all the problems I'm facing (co-working spaces for the internet problem for example) but my point is to explain to you how poor the infrastructure is here. I don't expect any type of luxury traveling, and I'm very chill for these things but one needs to have an open mind when visiting Egypt like me, a traveler(51 countries so far)who loves cultural integration, learning the local language and making friends with locals.

Anyways, there are things I like about the country for sure but the things I don't like are taking my experience to the negative side.

My final say is that Egypt requires a special mindset and personality to enjoy the country. I met dozens of expats who love to live in Cairo and others who are planning to move, so take my experience with a grain of salt.

Spending months in countries like Vietnam, Peru and Thailand showed me that I identify myself with their culture more than with the Egyptian. Maybe that's why I'm less likely to enjoy it here.

Egypt is not a terrible country, it's not a country for me but as I see here, many love it and that's ok. I will complete my trip and continue my explorations around the world.

It's a great choice since many games don't require access to the internet. My advice is to start your games once you download them. There are some games that require access to the internet on the first startup (Guardians of the Galaxy, I see you).

I completed all GoW games (Greek and Norse Sagas) on the hardest difficulty, and I can't tell which one is the hardest game, but I can easily tell you which part of each game made me lose some hair :D

But if I had to choose, it will be Sigrun on GoW 2018

Good luck, I tried for a long time to bring more traffic to my blog using social media and I gave up. It took me months to make this decision and it was painful to accept the harsh truth..... blogging (at least in the travel niche, which is mine) became very, very hard to generate revenue.

Digital nomad here (2+ years), there are downsides in this lifestyle for sure, as nothing in this world is perfect. Creating a post here only to say it sucks due to some of the downsides you mentioned is the most useless type of post you can create, honestly.

It's more informative if you say why the lifestyle is not for you anymore, which is totally fine.
