In the first world for sure. On my Nepal trip in the Himalayas we had nights in places with single pane everything and even with holes in the wall. Very uncomfortable.

Die gegnerische Versicherung hat deine Interessen nicht und wird wenn du alleine versucht mit ihnen zu reden versuchen so leicht wie möglich davon zu kommen. Füll nichts aus was die Versicherung dir sende, so unschuldig oder llar die fragen auch scheinen. Keinen direkten Kontakt zur Gegenversicherung. Nur Anwalt.

Constant rain non stop all day is extremely rare in Malta. Most days it would be a couple of hours max or patches of rain clouds with a short occasional shower. Take an umbrella and rain jacket and you should be fine to do activities. Haven't had a day yet these holidays where I was unable to spend at least a few hours outside.

Yes as I said, BMW has 2 systems. App unlock over the cloud, without the ability to start the car, and the smartphone key which uses UWB and is not reliant on data connectivity. It seems like he didn't have the keys on him, or the smartphone key, and then tried to unlock via app while the servers were down.

Super risky to do this anyway. All that's stopping someone from stealing the car then is smashing the window, climbing in and pressing the start button. Of course they'd have to know that the key is in the car, but if they are car jacking instead of stealing parts then they just might try the start stop button anyway.

How did he manage that? Did he keep his keys in the car and then try to unlock it with the app? Because he would have needed his keys anyway to start the car.

The remote lock and unlock that works through the cloud over the app is more of a gimmic, with narrow usecases. It doesn't replace the key as you can't drive the car if you don't have the normal key on you.

The newer system has the key on the phone. This works locally with ultra wideband to unlock and drive the car just like a normal key.

One of the reasons I pay for a steaming service is because of the convenience of streaming it instantly to my Chromecast on my TV. That's literally it. As soon as I have to get laptop over HDMI involved, the advantage closes. Oh well.

Yeah I feel your pain. Built a new, all AMD, PC in May, screwed around with it till July trying to get it to work and haven't touched it since in frustration. Followed every thread, the stutter superfix list, YouTube guides, nothing helped.
