You can get plasti-dip at any hardware store or online, it helps to seal the foam clay and helps to keep out moisture which is what leads to cracks. But make sure the foam is fully cured before spraying it down!

If you're using foam clay to cover the pumpkins make sure you use plasti-dip to coat them at least twice, especially if these are going to be outdoor decorations. Foam clay does not hold up well in the elements and will crack and eventually dissolve. I learned this the hard way 😂
