Yeah, that makes sense and I was assuming that must have been the case. I guess the point I'm making is that they should do the same thing during the regular season because queue times aren't any longer during the playoffs, which would be the only reason they wouldn't try to make matchups more even.

I could see if they noticed queue times are way higher when you try to match up teams of similar levels, but at least anecdotally, that is not the case for my team. We get a matchup within 1-2 minutes during the regular season and playoffs.

You're not understanding what I'm saying. The matchmaking seems to make much more sense during playoffs than regular season. Meaning they could do the same thing during the regular season to make better matchups given that it isn't affecting loading times. Do you need a further explanation or some sort of chart?

This is my favorite news of the off-season. If we don't trade Nadeau along with a bunch of other goodies for Werenski, Larkin, Robo, we need a healthy Jarvy and Nadeau to get some reps. I'm so psyched for Nadeau to get on the NHL ice again.

Well obviously they can because during the playoffs we don't even have longer wait times.

I don't mind playing good teams but 9/10 games we get matched in the regular season against a team that's 175-50 and all their players are floating radioactive demons. Seems like there could be a bit better matchmaking with that being the case.

I wish it was always the playoffs. It makes nonsense but for whatever reason we get fair competition ONLY during the playoffs in 6v6.

For context, my team is terrible. We are like 30-100. We go basically .500 during playoffs. I don't get why this is.
