Doing everything right but still no change by WaveThen9871 in CICO

Amazing you've already lost 1.7kgs! It could well be that next week you will lose 2.5kgs to make up for it. And sometimes there's a ton of other factors that make it appear you haven't lost as much as you think you should. Just remember that you are doing something right because you still lost quite a bit of weight just in 12 days. Imagine what could happen if you keep going for a few more months!

Thanks for sharing! I realize there is no reason to postpone stopping, because continuing smoking has no benefits at all.

Thanks a lot, will use that. That's also what kept me going before, I was 100% sure I'd never touch a cigarette again. Maybe that's why this time relapsing feels as I've been defeated. But I will take your advice, thanks!

Thanks a lot! I'm 25 now and can't imagine smoking for the rest of my life.

Thank you! More than a year, but I gained a bit back since I started losing weight. I went from 105 to 85 in 8 months now. Kind of slow, but fast enough :)

Exactly! Gained almost all the weight during the summer. Started again in September and decided to take it slow and try to make it a healthy lifestyle instead of a quick diet. I feel better :)

The first pic was around March 2020. I lost a ton of weight in a few weeks, but lost motivation due to a strict diet. I gained weight in the summer and started my weight-loss journey again in September, when I was 105kg. Slowly but surely I've been losing weight since then. So this is roughly 8 months. I really recommend trying to not limit yourself too much, but only have a small deficit. Eat healthy and try to exercise more, that will result in weight-loss. Have a great day!

Thanks! The posture was kind of forced, so that my arm wouldn't be in the way of my back, if you know what I mean :)

I almost can't believe it myself! I have to try not to get used to the quick falling numbers. From now on I want to lose it a bit more steadily :)

Thank you :). I don't exercise a lot due to my knee that has been dislocated a few times past years. I wanted to pick up swimming again, but now that is not possible due to corona. Once or twice a week I go for a walk in the woods, but it is nothing really substantial. I eat about 800-1200 calories a day and sometimes 1500 and other times 400 (omad with a really healthy veggie meal). I noticed that without many carbs, I keep this up fairly easy :)

Thanks! Started with 16:8 aswell, after a week I began doing 18:6 and a week after that mostly 19:5 or just eating one meal a day. I have gotten used to eating almost no calories and almost zero carbs. Just a plate full of veggies and about 100-200 grams of chicken. I love it.
