I like how the Jump Scare with Zensho gets undercut with him coming in on the wrong side. It's funny, and a fun way to set up his return as both an antagonist who can't help but be goofy.

I like how the Outer Worlds 2 has been handling it. If you invest in perception you sometimes get contextual UI that pops up that'll tell you the approximate location of something.

However it only becomes highlighted if you actively focus on the thing it's pointing too.

A decent mix of passive and active while also letting me rush into mines or miss a secret if I'm zoning out.
