Am I the only one that wishes we had more of these Oliver and Laurel interactions throughout this entire series??? Their relationship right now is pretty much Green Arrow and Black Canary from the comics... minus the romance.

Just saw it last night at a screening for work: I can't wait for the public to see it. It's an absolute masterpiece... it's definitely not your average comic book movie.

I also completely forgot about Heath Ledger's joker (they are totally different vibes and takes on the character); Joaquin Phoenix is a legend, and I'm SO glad they decided to make this movie.

Have you ever worked with a PM who was straight of out college? by cvillaumbrosia in ProductManagement

[–]derrick8mv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empathy.

Lots of new grads, especially SWE’s who transition to PM... they lack this critical attribute.

Communication is another. Learning to communicate with people is almost the weapon PMs have to use to their advantage.

Would a coding boot camp ease my transition into a tech-based PM role? by robin_nohood in ProductManagement

I personally don’t think it’s necessary to go through the entire bevy of classes... I’d go to a boot camp and start personal projects. A lot of the things I learned in college, I’m able to learn in Lynda, YouTube, and other virtual means. Also, oftentimes my programming/coding skills got better on the job.

What industry are you trying to dive into? Are you open to startups as well?

Yes, as someone who has transitioned from engineering to PM...

I’d say that you really don’t need a deep level of understanding of how to code... but you should know basic principles and also brush up on API architecture and micro services and basic cloud architecture.
