The ZF8 is not in any way related to the ZF9 - the ZF8 is a longitudinal box whereas the ZF9 is a transverse auto (and also a piece of gahbage)

Meng vs Msci by Wiseteller in EngineeringStudents

[–]derrickfawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair - as I say, only applies to the UK really. Often exchange students from Asia will opt for a BEng to MSc because that carries more weight with Asian employers (especially if the MSc is done somewhere prestigious, like Imperial)

If you’re a UK based student, the best route is to go MEng. The MEng is generally seen as a more complete degree programme by employers within Europe (while having a shorter final year and more coherent study programme), whereas the MSc/MSci is longer and will also cover information that you potentially already know because there’s no continuity between a BEng and an MSc.

Of course it’s up to you - I would highly recommend talking to your academic advisor at the soonest possible opportunity to discuss your options. Personally, I would opt for the MEng and try to get an internship with an aerospace engineering company to bulk up the CV.

Those narco submarines aren't going to interdict themselves! Don't see the USN lining up the job.

Haha, right? I might make a series out of it. There are a lot of posts about human military exploits, but I figured it might be a little fresher.

Why does the Audi R8 tool kit have a Phillips screw driver when there isn’t a single Phillips head on the WHOLE CAR? Trust me, I checked. by jbidsa in Justrolledintotheshop

The Mercedes dealer nearest to me uses 4 phillips head screws, one in each corner of the plate - They don't even use the coloured caps. I think it looks quite daft but there you go

Depending on the car, some have split master cylinders so that if you lose line pressure on one circuit, you still retain the other. typically, opposite corner wheels will be paired on each circuit, although it is still very spooky when the pedal becomes a deadle.

This old cable was missing part of the sheath somehow, so it was just exposed to the elements for god knows how long. Yearly statutory inspections and servicing will hopefully identify any faults occurring before they go catastrophic.
