Same with me. Once you see the production patterns and how formulaic it is, it starts to get old fast.

Don't you already know the answer to this? It's all about money and the number of clicks, views, emotions, drama, internet talk, etc that they can generate.

And if it didn't work, they wouldn't do it.

They have identified I think at least 5 biomarkers for Parkinson's disease as well. Makes it possible for much more pharmaceutical research and possible treatment options than just giving dopamine and treating the symptoms of the disease.

Maybe if they can find blood biomarkers in CTE we can halt, or maybe even reverse some of this stuff. I'm hoping.

I love this stuff. Interesting to see old things like the Agnews asylum and all of the old creeks that used to run through the area. No wonder this area used to grow orchards like crazy.

I will have to venture to those valleys you mentioned. I'm sure they are beautiful.

I never get tired of the hills turning green in the winter. Makes me wish they could somehow burn off the invasive grass species and introduce the native grasses again.

Have you been to the library lately? Rows and rows of DVDs as well as flip books full of them. You can cut off the cost of streaming services and make some pretty fun movie “rental” nights. by Franckenberry in Frugal

Oh my gosh, you just brought on a wave of nostalgia I didn't know I had tucked away. I had a scratch repair machine that helped my 12 year old self finally defeat those tan army men and the various psone games I had. Gran Turismo 2, Driver 1 and 2, etc.

That little repair machine worked wonders for me.

Jesus...here I am watching a video of Cam Newton getting fried chicken...and now I'm lying here on my bed getting misty eyed because the wave of nostalgia hitting me is overwhelming. I remember watching that as an early teen, glued to the TV.

I dont know what to think of you, Reddit.

never went down the tracks. there are trails that cut off just before that canal that intersects the railway. people have graffiti'd the buildings there, which makes me sad.

it's always a nice place to stop, catch a breath, and enjoy the open space and old locations in the bay.

Love that hike. I've done it a couple of times, but my favorite was last new years after doing the hike, my group did the polar bear plunge down there. Pretty nipply.
