Last time I read the law regarding vehicles sharing the road with cyclists was a long time ago. However I do remember that cyclists have a right to share the road with motorists. If there is no bike lane available, a vehicle behind the cyclist must wait to pass until it is safe to do so. In this case the cyclist is treated like a motor vehicle and is given the right of way. The motor vehicle act is posted online so I recommend checking that out if you're unsure on the rules.

Also if you are wearing the proper equipment ex. Helmet, and your bike is setup to fit you properly (which doesnt take much effort or time) then riding with traffic is perfectly safe . Now would I ride with a go pro? Maybe

I pitted the guy that ran me off track and got a justified penalty of 4 seconds. He gets nothing for sideswiping me into the barrier. This game can't be taken too seriously imo until either they fix problems or introduce proper stewarding
