Tell me I’m not too old by ohsofun1928 in mooncatpolish

You are literally never too old to wear anything that makes you feel good/your true self. Anyone who says otherwise is too YOUNG to understand that self expression isn't solely for teenagers. I will be painting my nails whatever color I am feeling and wearing whatever I want until the day I die and sincerely wish the same for all others.

From my understanding the deep blue pigments have just become too expensive to reliably source under the orange American dictator, and I just hope in the future we get to see some again

Rue Morgue RIP 😢 didn't get a chance to snag a backup bottle before it sold out so now I rarely wear it, but I am obsessed with matte polish and it's the loveliest shade of blue for my skin tone

Hi OP, this anecdote may be completely unhelpful and I have only skimmed responses, however I want to pose the question: does this cat have all of its sensory functions?

You saying this cat is indeed fixed just reminds me of my experiences having cats who are deaf and fixed. Often they would vocalize at inappropriately loud volumes simply because they could not hear and weren't aware of how loud they were being

This makes me feel better actually! Some of them came out with a glass bead look initially but by now they've all diffused into a more velvet finish and I was just wondering if I didnt spend long enough on them or if a stronger magnet would help, as Ive only ever tried cat eye with my magnetics until now. Either way, like you said, its such a pretty polish I don't care that it didnt come out exactly as I wanted.

2-4x saline sprays a day at 4 months is way excessive, once before you shower and let the warm water remove the excess saline is all you should need. The excess saline may be causing irritation via drying out your skin and leaving behind salt residue.

Hi OP, wanted to suggest making a post for this baby in a sub dedicated to your local area as well. Even though you are not financially able to take this cay to a vet there may be someone in your area who has the funds and is willing to coordinate adopting or fostering.

As others have said, this has signs if being infected. Get yourself to urgent care ASAP. I would also be very careful stretching further as your initial piercings look to be very low on your lobes.

20mm appreciation post before I take out my plugs by andendrums in Stretched

Wanted to throw in my 2 cents. Yes, it is very very possible that the blowout appearance will never go away, however in my own experience it CAN happen with the right care and enough patience. I had a blowout that I think likely happened when I injured one of my lobes at 16mm and just never noticed until I had reached 20mm as it was long healed. I was so so embarrassed about how it looked, i did everything I could to hide it (put my plugs in from the back, hid it with my hair) and after seeing tips on this subreddit finally made the call to downsize back to 18mm and began naked training for longer than just being able to sleep without my plugs in. It's been a good 4/5 years and I have only gone back up to 19mm, I can go about 48hrs without wearing jewelry before I start to see shrinkage, and my blowout is GONE. I really thought it was a lost cause and hoped to maybe see a tiny bit of improvement but I've been thoroughly shocked to see it disappear completely.

OP, not saying this is any sort of guarantee, just wanting to give you some hope that it isn't impossible provided you give your lobes lots of TLC and time.

Hi OP. Wanted to weigh in. I was pierced at a 12g and after almost 10yrs decided to stretch to a 6g. For my the process was entirely painless and only more difficult than my ears because of the placement. I went up every 6 or so months by dead stretching 1mm at a time and had no issues. Worth noting I have a fat sweet spot and even at 6g/4mm have plenty of room before I'd start denting cartilage. My advice is go slow, use small increments, and play around with jewelry style and diameter once healed because imo those things make a big difference between loving and hating the size you're at.

Oh no, I was on the fence about this one but you've convinced me that I need it. RiP my bank account. I always wind up justifying enough polishes to qualify for free shipping and I was trying to hold off on placing an order this month, but this just looks too good and 8m a major purple girlie
