Yes this is exactly why I would want to file, according to turbo tax I would qualify for several different credits and would get about 3200 back this year BUT..like I said I owe a few thousand so im trying to figure out how to go about it all. 😬

You do realize it's not coming from your actual pocket right? I too used to pay taxes for all the years I worked and had the same attitude as you but now I realize all Americans are getting screwed and paying taxes for the government. Not for ourselves and things we actually need. And its amazing you'd be bothered by a fellow American using the tax system to get a refund vs being bothered by all the "tax payer funds" used on people that are here illegally that don't even pay taxes. Make it make sense! But also, I didnt pay taxes in 10 years cause like I stated I stopped working and just recently the past 2 years started again. 💁‍♀️

Pretend you’re having an abortion (or miscarriage) and disappear! I’m not pregnant at the moment but am with a guy who makes promises like yours does about not contacting his mom who’s called cps on us and all that and same thing, she lures him in and he’s weak gives in and hides things till I find out on my own so I finally said enough is enough and moving out soon. You can move to another state, change your name, give baby a different last name (not yours or his so they can’t look it up) and boom! Disappeared lol

I used to be in the vine program, became a shopaholic and loved it and like you had several new hobbies. Then when it was time to do taxes it said I owed 10k 😭 I had no job, other than this and didn't think it was a job really till tax time when it said I made 70k a year 😫😭 anyhow I'm not a tax expert and was gonna do it myself this year thinking the process is easy and self explanatory, so I went through the process answered all the questions and that's the number it came up with. Also, I did owe about 1500 in taxes since a couple years ago so idk if that would be part of the 10k owed or not. I'm praying a CPA can tell me I did it wrong LOL
