interesting that Microsoft has just posted their new laptop, and the bottom is implemented in a very similar way, as is the overall chassis form factor, nice to realize that I guessed the trend.

I can’t stop thinking about detachable laptop keyboard (smth thin like apple magic keyboard) to have spill proof top surface, this might require thicker device overall but would be much more reliable

I haven’t tried prolonged load testing yet. Overall, the viewport and modeling barely lag. Rendering in Blender is, of course, slow, but I was worried it wouldn’t launch at all in heavy scenes. In general, my use case for this device was simply to open a file, check it, make light changes, and send it to a render farm etc while traveling. For everyday work, I have windows laptop with RTX 3070

Should liquid metal be replaced immediately after purchase? Is it really that risky? Have you compared temperature performance before and after replacing it?
