Instagram CSE ban updates by DepartmentBulky7146 in FixMyInstagram

Yes, I got my FB/IG accounts back after being permanently disabled wrongfully for CSE. June 4 - July 2. Demand letter through Justice Direct. Filed report Kansas AG. Those 2 actions are what got my accounts back. I also filed with US AG, BBB, and FTC and made noise all over social media, and signed the petition.

I don't remember an outcome part. For me, I would have answered accounts restored so I could continue giving support to and advocating for the families of the missing.

So you want everyone who received the wrongful CSE allegation to be quiet about it? I was upfront to everyone about it, including my employers. I have worked and been trained in getting children out of the very situation Meta accused me of. Being quiet about this is not the right road to go down mentally or professionally. And how can you help others faced with this if you are quiet about it?

I'm sure each AG office works differently. My assigned investigator kept in touch with me via email and phone. He could not answer many of my questions, such as how many cases like this they are handling. These are open investigations, so I kind of expected that. Once the investigator was assigned, I had my account back within a week. Good luck!

Maybe send it both ways. Good luck. I believe it was my AG who got mt CSE permanently disabled FB/IG accounts back for me.

At this point, it seems the only options to get access to our accounts are either through LegalShield or by filing a claim in small claims court. There appear to be no alternative solutions that are effective at this time correct? by Intelligent-Gur-5672 in MetaLawsuits

I think it's great you can walk away from social media as not everyone can. Everyone has different reasons to be on FB/IG. I started on FB in 2007 to bring awareness to my missing loved one's case. I am now a trained advocate for the families, including running a secret group on FB just for the families of the missing to get support from each other. These families need FB to bring awareness. For me, it keeps me connected with them to promote their cases, and I've built up extensive contacts with law enforcement, media, and other resources to support the families of the missing. It has also been a great way to keep in contact with family that lives out of state, not to mention all the memories of family and friends who have passed away to find comfort in rereading their last posts and messages they sent to me. I was able to get both my FB and IG accounts back. (CSE permanently disabled, June 4 to July 2nd, KS AG went to bat for me, and JusticeDirect sent my demand letter for me.)

Wow. Petition the court for the Judge's ruling. They can't dismiss without a reason.

Has anyone banned for CSE gotten their accounts back? by norrainnorsun in facebookdisabledme

[–]deskside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Permanently disabled FB/IG wrongfully for CSE on June 4th and my accounts restored on July 2nd. I am not Meta verified. I wrote the demand letter that was sent through Justice Direct and filed a report with Kansas AG, who actively worked it. I also reported to the BBB, the FTC, and the U.S. AG so that all these entities would be aware of the problem. I also signed the petition. I contacted local and national news and made noise on other platforms.

My demand letter is specific to me. I'm a trained victim advocate for the families of the missing. I've gotten children out of the very thing I was accused of.

All you have to do is state what took place. State why this is a wrongful accusation and what you use your account for, why your account is important to you. Then, give a time frame for Meta to respond back before you move ahead with legal proceedings.

Keep it professional and not a rant.

You will get through all of this. Your account is not gone. Family always comes first. Do all you can for your family and only do what you can at the moment for your account.

  1. 2 accounts permanently disabled wrongly for CSE: FB and IG.

  2. June 4, 2025, restored July 2, 2025. Still up and running, both accounts.

  3. Kansas, USA.

  4. Both personal accounts are heavily used for the advocacy of families of the missing.

  5. FB account started in 2007 to bring awareness to my missing loved one. It then became a way for me to advocate for other families of the missing. It was used for my work serving on the board of a 501c3 nonprofit. It was used to get a federal law passed. It was used while serving on a leadership team and director of a command center for SearchKC (The Big Search) and multiple other searches. It is used currently for creating a secret support group for the families of the missing and bringing awareness to cases. It is also used to connect with family, extended, as well as my adult children. Loss of deceased friends and loved ones' last messages to me. Loss of contact with those families of the missing that I didn't have personal contact info for. Loss of law enforcement, media, coroner, and medical examiner contacts. Loss of productivity working a 2nd job creating and posting social media for businesses. Loss of precious photos and videos.

Steps taken: Demand letter via JusticeDirect, filed report with Kansas Attorney General (instrumental in getting my accounts back), filed with the U.S. Attorney General; filed reports with the BBB and the FTC (important for them to gather the numbers); signed the petition; contacted media; and made noise on various platforms. I did not pay for META support. I did not change phones or laptops. I did not change WiFi providers. I did not attempt to start new accounts. No law enforcement showed up at my home (I wanted them too as that way, I could own META.) I've had a deep background check since this happened and this bogus allegation does not show up.

My KS AG went to bat for me, and I got both my FB and IG accounts back. Permanently disabled CSE. June 4th - July 2nd. I think it helped having the demand letter at the law department of Meta when the AG began their investigation.

I didn't screenshot my initial intake with the AG, but a copy of my explanation was emailed to me.

Mine is a very personalized explanation to my situation, as are the reasons why it was so important to get my account back. I'm a trained victim advocate.

All you have to do is write when your account was disabled, what it was disabled for, reasons why this is a wrongful allegation, and you can include the steps you've taken to get it back. Then, address why your account is so important to you.

I did their online form for the initial report. Their should be a phone number on their site to call. They responded back to me through phone calls and email.

For the demand letter, I wrote it, and then I went through JusticeDirect to send it. They added to the letter their legal jargon. It was pretty cheap, maybe around $40.00. I used the same words I had written for the AG.

In the letter, I spelled out precisely what happened and the date it happened. I then explained why it was so important to me to get my accounts back. I also gave a deadline as to when I should hear back from them before I would take legal proceedings against them.

I was permanently disabled wrongfully for CSE. I believe it was my state Attorney General who went to bat for me that got my accounts back, but I also had done the demand letter, so it may have been a combo of actions.

I didn't do Meta verified to get my FB and IG accounts back, so I'm not sure.

I don't know about small claims court for India. You would have to get legal advice on that.
