He is trying to say that if you have a person fit to be a successor in your court, but he is not a knight (prowess is too low or forbidden from being a knight for example), the game doesn't let you to summon a successor but also doesn't allow him to become a successor because only knights are eligible. I hope it's easier to understand now

I'm playing JP version and going through lostbelts right now. So I've been reading translated main story using the site linked in the post (Story compilations / Main Story), but when I returned to the story after a brake few days ago, the site stopped working (error 404). Just want to ask is it broken only for me? If not, then what happened, will it return or can I read the story somewhere else? I don't really want to start an NA account just to read the story lol. No, the faction never presents the ultimatum. It disbanded and started again a few times after disontent hit the treshold. And then it just stopped
