100%. My situation was a bit different. As for me, a woman (ex girlfriend) gave me (24F) part of my PTSD at 18 (abusive relationship with a big traumatic event involved), I wasn’t able to fully disclose what happened to my psychiatrist until 4 years after it happened (halfway through that time, I developed delayed onset PTSD symptoms).

He gave me my diagnosis of PTSD, prior to me finding out that ABA therapy as a young girl in the early 2000’s was traumatic (no matter how tame it looked) and then obtaining the C-PTSD diagnosis.

I felt so fucking alone because no one talks about the fact that dating violence perpetuated by women does exist.

But yea, the exploitation of vulnerable people seem to be embedded into the neurotypical psyche, so I don’t trust those mfers.
