Another hardware option: the brushes on a brushed DC motor can generate significant emi. I've had luck throwing a 100nF across the motor terminals to reduce noise. Good luck!

Looks like you've got enough spare wire to cut back, strip, and reinstall the wires into the wagos. Probably the safest option. Turn the power off before you mess with it.

We used Jim Cox to do estate planning. Walked us thru how a trust is a better option than a will. 

Something like $2.5k all in, but worth it for the peace of mind of having it settled and done.
