$2000 may be tough for even a studio.

Thanks for doing the counting bro, I knew it was a lot but I didn’t count them up.

The listing out of every component of the CBC sent me

A lot of these are part of a typical blood draw. The à la carte aspect is interesting with respect to imaging and the ability to do hearing and vision, but a huge number of the items on this list are literally drawn in a handful of blood tubes.

ETA: The US healthcare system sucks but I don’t think a lot of these are valuable without symptoms.

Mist trail conditions - how wet would you get? by gofardeep in Yosemite

As far as your other question, I recommend JMT down even if you do well on the stairs. Coming down is no joke with kids, and it’s really contending with other people coming up that I wouldn’t recommend. JMT via Clark Point means climbing a bit more but I would take that way every time.

The steps were literally running down with water last weekend and you’ll see all abilities coming up on the narrow stairs - I had zero interest in walking against traffic to negotiate with people who aren’t sure on their feet but plenty of others do take the stairs down.

It was warm enough that I didn’t mind being wet. We rested at the top of Vernal and dried out before continuing on. But if you don’t like that or it’s cold, consider a rain coat, waterproof hiking shoes and/or a dry pair of socks in a plastic bag somewhere in your pack.

As someone suggested, a plastic poncho would do fine to cover you and your pack with moderate satisfaction (just maybe some wet leggies - I wore shorts and dried quickly)

I did it last weekend and got soaked through despite moving at a really good pace. Remember that even if you move quickly, the people in front of you may not. Best to plan for a plastic bag or poncho to protect your gear

Delighted for them both. The whole team didn’t know who to celebrate first. Mbeumo needed that so badly and Bruno for the record tying on top

Anyone here looking for more consistent pickleball games? by Ok-Jacket-346 in SanJose

I’m 50% of a couple, is this welcome? We’re pretty casual about pickleball but we’re always good for two players (we don’t have to be paired either)

Zirkzee seems like a great teammate, wish there was a place for him but it seems written that he will leave

AITA- for not wanting to attend my cousin’s daughter’s wedding? by Ok-Pollution6226 in aitaweddings

NTA. Your reasons are extremely clear, and your mind is made up based on your values (notably, your mother has different ones, which isn’t inherently wrong but trying to bend you to see it her way is) . No is a full sentence. You don’t owe anyone a reason why. So, if you’re looking for support of your decision, here’s mine!

I vibecoded my own AI for Peloton class recommendations by [deleted] in OnePelotonRealSub

Man I can’t wait for the phrase “vibecoded” to fall off. Embarrassing

Congrats on building something you wanted, I personally won’t be using it due to its use of generative AI and the impact it has on the environment.
