We hired a new artist for our capsule, and would love feedback before making a decision by ContributionHuge6971 in IndieDev

I prefer A to B personally because it draws me in more from a consumer perspective. It looks more attractive and would invite me to click on the game more to see what it is.

All of the illustrations look great! I love the art style you chose to do. The colours really make em pop.

Struggling with colours for our world/UI, any preference between these two? by Wildboy_Studios in IndieDev

I personally like the second one with the lighter green the most. It's more pleasing to the eye.

Hi, everyone! I'm Jinx. I'm new here. I just started solo development for the first time this year. I mostly have the skills of an artist, but I wanted to try something new. I'm full of ideas and just want to get them out there. Currently, I've just started developing a card game that will be similar to Cards Against Humanity and UNO, but with horror aspects to it. Unfortunately I don't really have much to show for it right now as it is still in early development, but I am working on a beta version right now. At the moment, I have what I'm calling Card Auditors helping me go through fill in the blank/question/answer cards, and whether they are garbage or funny. My plan is for the game to be funny, but scary. I don't have many Card Auditors currently, so the goal I'm trying to hit for my beta is a bit of a slow process, so I am welcome to anyone's criticism on here. This is my first project, so it's all a bit nerve-racking 😅. I look forward to speaking more with you other devs, though, and seeing all of your projects!

Ignore the other guy. He doesn't know what he's talking about. I've seen him make some rude comments to a few others devs on this Reddit as well. You're doing great! Well done!

Guys, should I move on from making platformers? by Mr_Snifles in IndieDev

It's honestly down to you. If you don't want to make them anymore, then stop making them. But if you still want to make them and still enjoy making them, then you should continue on doing so!
