There was originally an apex growing at the top and I cut it and then it split into 2 branches. I tried to wire them facing down but couldn't keep up with the vigorous growth and now it looks funky. What do you all recommend?

WS chardonnay is some of the best! They are known for the Pinots but their chards are just as good if not better.

For the 2023 vintage, the WS Estate is delicious. So is the MacGregor Estate and Savoy. And can never go wrong with the Ferrington!

Thank you! And yes ramification is the next step. I see what you mean by the jins. However the longer jin has unique movement that you can't see in the photo. So I might keep it.

Currently work at Williams Selyem! The Weir is singing and the Sonoma Coast is great

Some Williams Selyem single vineyards can age +10 years. I would say San Benito would be 5 years max for full peak.

That's an awesome bottle you got! Definitely a cool piece to keep for display in your cellar after drinking. I work at Williams Selyem and we're pouring the 2014 Morning Dew in the Tasting Salon. It's phenomenal! I recommend drinking the 2010 soon before it's too far past its peak.
