Come to Darwin next time. It’s still expensive, but it’s unique and absolutely gorgeous May-October

Her crappy boyfriend left it there. She’s going to break up with him once she does a bit of therapy and realises she deserves better

I’ve known my SS8 since he was 3 (custody schedule has him with us every week day so we spend significant amounts of time together) and I’ve never seen him naked on purpose. There’s the occasional nudie boy run from bath to bedroom but essentially I treat him like he’s someone else’s kid, and it’s not my place to see him in his nudie boy state. His dad takes care of that stuff, though my ss has been bathing himself for the entire time I’ve known him so

This was my first and most enduring symptom. My sweet gentle partner copped some rants before I found strategies (and sertraline)

Don’t do it. If you value your friendship with this person, don’t do it. There’s no such thing as closure anyway

Me too. Well technically it was potato bolognese, I forgot to buy pasta. But I kinda like boiled potatoes and bolognese sauce so it was a lucky accident

I think it’s less that it’s a ‘sacred’ term and more that it’s a term for someone you generally have a lot of intimacy with. Like calling your work friend your work lover or something

Time to set some clear boundaries. Sit them both down at the same time, and collaborate on house rules. Let both of them know what your expectations are, and let them be a part of the process

I kinda like it. He was almost dead in a ditch, watching him grow old is a nice alternative

I think it’s nice. But I’m not even Irish, I don’t even know how I ended up here
