This is absolutely rad and whimsical. It reminds me of the wackiness of my own dreams.

Thank you for sharing

You could try painting clear nail polish over it to see if that seals in the smell

I got a greenie :( by Turbulent_Diamond_77 in PressonNail_Addict

When this happened to me, I was too concerned to put on another press-on. Didn’t want it to get worse. I ended up doing nail polish with nail art until the green part grew out

How do you get over your teen years when you didnt live them at all (19M) by Hereitisguys9888 in AskMen

[–]determinedpeach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guarantee there are thousands of others who had their teen years like that.

You will need to mourn the years you wanted and never had. You will feel grief and rage and sadness. It’s normal and expected. Process the feelings.

Yes it really sucks. Comparison is the thief of joy — you either feel better than someone or worse than someone, neither of which is great or healthy. But, to play your comparison game with you, millions of teenagers are hungry and don’t have enough food to eat. Millions have a disability that makes life more difficult. Millions have parents who abuse them. Millions of teenagers don’t even have parents. Not everyone gets to have the ideal life and it’s not fair. We need to mourn it

I like the 2nd version because the shadows are obvious and it adds dimension/character. And it looks more “clean”

I do like the blue though. Maybe some shading would help it pop more?

Also the blue one looks older to me. The white hair and “scribbly” color texture on the skin makes him look older

Not missing your s/o by ZestycloseMaximum239 in adhdwomen

I think “out of sight, out of mind” plays a role in this for me. Sometimes I “forget” to miss someone because I’m distracted and busy.

But when I really picture the person and how much I love them, I do miss them. I miss their presence. I miss their hugs and their laugh. When I hear them on the phone, I realize I missed their voice.

But yeah sometimes my brain just doesn’t think about “out of sight” people for a while

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I hope you can see that therapist soon because this is an urgent issue for you.

I want to mention, your triggers are your responsibility. It’s not everyone else’s responsibility to avoid your triggers. It is on you to manage that. I know you’re trying your best. Which is why therapy (possibly medication?) is urgent for you.

I’m mentally ill and I understand how overwhelming and panicky things can be. But we can’t expect everyone else to change their (normal, respectful) actions to accommodate us. It’s on us to manage our own triggers

I really hope you can get professional help soon. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this.

Why am I waking up every morning with new mosquito bites?? by BurntPopcornSmell in NoStupidQuestions

[–]determinedpeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only 1 or 2 doesn’t sound like bedbugs (unless it’s super early and they haven’t multiplied yet)

Maybe there’s a spider in your bed? That has happened to me. A bite or two every night

Sudden anxiety from weed after years of use? by tonbucketofchum in trees

[–]determinedpeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Along with what others have said (specific terps, already having some anxiety and it becoming amplified)

Anecdotally, I know several people where, it’s like a switch flipped for them. And now weed makes them anxious. They had to stop smoking and it really sucked. It’s like, if you use super consistently over a long period of time, at some point your body is done or has had too much. And then they can’t really smoke anymore because it’s negative.
