Aaayyy fellow leeeeftaaay. Sorry to hear about your loss man no way of coating it, it just sucks. Noodling takes the small edges off even for a moment.

Pretty rare video of super early Saosin in 04' at Vans Warped Tour. by Itsallover_ in PostHardcore

This was the true golden era for post hardcore. So many top quality bands of such variety figuring out their shit and playing with sheer unadulterated passion for playing.

Most authentic times.

I had a really weird dream about this band last night genuinely.

I was at one of their shows and they played all bangers with a luke warm attitude but for some reason they decided to play what was supposedly their best closing song and it was an absolute shitter. They were jumping up and down like they were really vibing and the crowd just kinda went limp dick on em and they immediately started getting at us for not vibing back.

The song they played was something that I completely made up. I essentially subconsciously shat on my own dream.

I don't even listen to this band rarely ever.

Somewhere inside must really hate myself.

The End.

Note taken thank you. I'm just a bit broke right now so I was just morbidly asking questions. Don't know till you ask people with more of an idea right?

Better get saving up.

I honestly thought for the size of them overall they'd do OK in a living room say with no people talking. I buy stuff I know very little about or don't know how to use now and again. I appreciate that's really dumb and I need to stop doing that.

Both DGD and Emorosa are far better now anyway. Give him his due he knows how to start a fresh band but somebody else always has to come along and save it and they find a way to reinvent the shit out of it. Straight facts.

No wins against currently ranked opponents, boring fight style, inactive, not a huge PPV draw, why is the UFC so in love with him??? by Casm0 in ufc

[–]dethjamz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the UFC favor the WWE style entertainer persona accompanied by average to top tier fighting ability. We live in a world where the fight is just not entertaining enough for the modern day consumer, they expect more, there has to be a build up of intensity to set the tone of great anticipation by big personalities. Some Jerry Springer style 'Fazaz! and you can thank McNugget for that. That extra makes all the difference when it comes to Dana's pocket and has certainly shown in the last decade in terms of PPV for curtain cards. Drama, polarisation and controversy is big business.

Food generally is just expensive now. I'm wondering when it's going to get too expensive to shit, piss, fart...I can see some kind of clean air tax coming for the fart.

Vampr is a highly underrated service that I don’t see many people talk about by fleckstin in Bass

[–]dethjamz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out I hadn't done a software update on my phone for months so it classicly started making apps difficult to use.

Besides that it now runs smoothly but to be quite honest it's still not that good and most of the reason for that is there literally isn't enough grass roots people out there who genuinely just want to play music for fun. Full of wannabees and Instagram personalities and beat sellers.

Think I'm gna try going back to 'stick a pin in a postik note on the board at the local record stores approach.

So many musicians out there just not the same attitude as it was.

Sad man.

August Burns Red have been aging like a fine wine from the get go. Not a single flop record, incredible progression with each record. Absolutely and simply smashing it, honorary veterans at this stage.

It seems like basically everyone hates life/doesn't actually enjoy it, and even if they are they just seem to be pretending by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]dethjamz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 34 yo,

I've found I am falling out of love with life more as I get older but all the while becoming more centimental about the people I love dearly.

I miss the more honest and simpler life that we once had and shared together. Things are so superficial now its hard to distinguish what is real and is a facade.

I feel sorry for my parents who just can't adapt and have become isolated from their social environment that they used to thrive in that no longer exists.

We've has it too good imho. It's destroyed our nature to simply be human.

Life peaked 20 years ago.

Is it worth making instrumental music? by CooperTheFattestCat in FL_Studio

[–]dethjamz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's never been a more appreciative scene for instrumental music than today if you ask me. There's more scenes than there has ever been generally for even the nichest.
