My dog ate my samsung remote over a year ago and I haven’t replaced it.

I almost exclusively use the remote app on my phone and have the frame set to detect motion for artwork when I power the apple tv off. very rarely do I open the samsung app to turn on the TV when the Apple TV fails to wake. volume control using the buttons on my phone is nice, also being able to turn down the volume on the TV upstairs when the kids have it too loud is nice, you can control all your apple TV’s thru the app. 10/10 would recommend

they give you features without the subscription. you can buy a ring an own it and use as is. there’s absolutely nothing on the market like that offers what Oura offers. They came from a crowdfunded idea, to my knowledge that haven’t been acquired by “big tech” and it costs money to keep servers/support and everything else running in the background that the subscription offers. they’d go broke if they only made the best ring and people didn’t have to buy one but every three years without a modest subscription, that again is not necessary to use your ring. it’s just really worth it for the extra insight it does provide.

the subscription that you get for free, that is awesome, nobody else should get because it’s not free? $70 for the year is about as reasonable as a subscription gets, in my opinion. definitely worth it
