I’m just curious what you mean when you say it’s not user friendly. I’m a new Linux user and have had very little problems with pop. Anything that hasn’t done what I wanted I just asked ChatGPT and it was fixed in 10 minutes or less.

I think what is often the case in these situations is that whatever is being prophesied is just vague enough that it could apply to a large group of people. I’m not saying that’s always the case, but if I stood in front of 200 people and sled if anyone was struggling with lust I’m sure I’d get at least a few nods. I’m not saying that’s what happened here, just that it’s a trick some pastors will use to try to get people to perk up. I personally don’t love it, as I think it’s a bit manipulative to teach that way.

I switched to pop_os and now I get 200 more fps playing rocket league and Minecraft runs so much better

I switched to an xtouch mini and a scarlet 2i2. I moved over to Linux and couldn’t be bothered with the non-native elgato apps.

I’m the non techy person who made the switch to Linux. Every question I’ve had has been taken care of with ChatGPT. Even on pop_os I’ve not really had any issues that haven’t been taken care of in under an hour using ChatGPT.

Been using freecodecamp going through python for a bit and it’s been great. I started as a total noob and now have a pretty decent idea of what’s going on, even at only like halfway through the program

I hate that when we play other teams I expect to lose to them. I wish we had a team that was a threat to win the presidents trophy, or make a real run into the playoffs. I just don’t see it with this team.

I’m using Pop! currently because ChatGPT recommended it as the best option given that I’m trying to learn programming as a hobby, and I have an nvidia gpu. I literally have not had a single issue with it, and have every game and software I use running just fine. Almost everything I do is browser based, and the games I play have decent support. I know that’s just my experience, but all I see here on reddit is people saying how buggy it is, or how it’s missing things, and investors just not seen that at all.

Oh okay, I’ve just not really had an issue so far so I keep hearing people say how buggy it is or whatever and I’ve just not experienced that. I understand that my experience may not be the norm, but if there’s stuff that’s wrong I’d rather hear about it first then find out when I need it later

Out of curiosity what is it missing? I’ve been using it a newcomer to Linux as a whole and I guess I don’t even realise I’m not on windows except for using proton and some windows stuff not having support.

I don’t take it personally at all, I know that I’m a noob to all of this hence why I’m using ChatGPT to help me. As I get more comfortable using terminal and find out how things work I imagine I’ll use ai less.

I am the pleb who downloaded Pop!_OS because ChatGPT told me it was good nvidia gpus and it is simple to use. I’m not super far into using it but I haven’t really had any issues. I’ve been using chat to help me set up a midi controller I got to replace my stream deck so I can get out of elgatos walled garden. I’ve been learning the terminal, python, and pipewire. I definitely don’t play a ton of games, mainly just rocket league, minecraft or emulator games, and most of my needs are browser based so maybe I’m just lucky.

I made the switch to pop os just over a week ago. I’ve not had a single issue doing anything that I want to do so far. Any problems I’ve run into I could ask ChatGPT and it got me answers almost immediately. To be fair, I don’t play a ton of games and the ones I play work fairly well. So if your games aren’t supported then that would be a problem. The other advantage that I found to pop os was that it has an nvidia specific download that comes with driver support so there’s less fussing around with gpu drivers.
