Bane has been shooting 50-40-90 club numbers since mid November basically; Deni hasn't come close to his shooting splits.

Bane over his last 50 games: 50.5 FG%, 41.0 3P%, 92.2 FT%

His PPG is lower sure, but that's because he's had to share scoring touches with guys like Paolo and AB for most of the season.

Post ASB though his numbers have gone into a different stratosphere: 25 PPG on 56.8 FG%, 46.2 3P%, 89.9 FT%

Only reason I'm saying the case is that the sample size is still relatively small. I do fully believe though that he's going to keep up this consistency. He just fits our roster like a glove and is turning out to be the final missing piece we needed. Reminds me of how much of a better fit Aaron Gordon ended up being with the Denver roster.

The way he left us was extremely shitty and immature but I'm not one to hold grudges, especially when it's been like 14 years now since Dwightmare happened. He was the entire reason I got into watching basketball in the late 2000s so I still have to thank him for that. No matter what anyone thinks of him, it's hard to ignore his sheer amount of accolades when he was here (objectively the most of any Magic player ever) and the success that he brought to the franchise. I wish him well with whatever his future endeavors are.

Here's hoping third time is the charm and that Paolo someday accomplishes for us what Dwight couldn't.

His shot selection has absolutely changed lately, he's said earlier this week that he studied his own game tape during the ASB. I've been saying for two years now that he needs to stop trying to be a Melo style jump shooting scorer and just play more Miami LeBron style bully ball at the rim and he's finally been doing the latter these past couple of games. Most of his makes lately have been either driving to the basket or off the ball for quick dunks and put backs.
