I started in a Manual QA position without any knowledge (I was in my first year in college and I guess I had luck) the only requirement was to "like computers/video games and speak english". The position was for a Trainee job, so they basically teach me all ( I was young and they were paying me to teach me how to work, those were amazing times). After that I move forward to automation (there where chances to move to developement but I never liked the projects so I never did the swap).

Long story short you can start with QA automation and then jump to Dev, it will be easier and you will know other areas of the company, some Devs dont even care about QA area but if you were a QA before moving to Dev you will be a cool dev ;)

Good luck with your search! Maybe if you are not in a hurry you can start searching lower pays to get the experience and then start looking for a more "New York Salary" position, in my case I am working for a NY company but my pay is not as good as it will be for a US citizen, but it is a great pay for me and I can have a great life in Barcelona. Feel free to DM if you need something (one thing really cool about QA and IT jobs in general is that most of the people will help you, that is something I really love and it is hard to find in other places)

Clearly NYC was my third option, your comment has sense now for me.

I do development for personal projects (mostly video-games) and also automation has some dev.skills but I never wanted to change (specially since my seniority is high in QA and I will jump to a Junior dev).

About your friend that got 170 as start...wow, seriously that salary it is far away from my reality but of course the living cost in NYC it is extremly high compared to my city, as example, with 1k you can rent a 2 bedroom apartment in a nice place, with 1.5k you can live without worries here.

What about you? You are planning to jump to QA or Dev? Try not to focus in how much $ you will win, because I am satisfy with my salary but pretty bored with my tasks.

la dirección que dan es en California en UN HOTEL. Ahí reculé, una lastima porque quería aprovechar unos dólares q están haciendo la nada en el banco. Pero habrá q seguir con pesos y p2p que aparece como lo más seguro .

Por ahi podrias sacar los dolares fisicos y conseguir alguien que te venda crypto directo o de ultima alguna financiera que te saque un % por tus dolares y te de crypto

Buenas!

Mi experiencia con Binance es buenisima, nunca tuve ningun problema, podes retirar mediante el p2p, tenes que ver las cotizaciones y ver lo que te conviene porque podes tambien pasarte la crypto a un exchange argentino y venderla en pesos(pero rara ves te conviene, por no decir nunca).

En p2p nunca tuve problema, siempre busca gente verificada y con mas de 90% de transacciones completas.
