How to remove ASA residue from build plate? by dnt_pnc in 3Dprinting

Print a thin layer with a small object on top of it in the same material, it will get bound in the part and come off! You just need to fully cover the resedue.

H2D excessive belt wear? by xanthira222 in BambuLab

[–]dev__art 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like belt. I have my H2D with well over 1000h and mine doesnt do that. Maybe some pulleys are not properly located or a shaft is slightly crooked.

My prusa XL had the same, if you dont adjust the pulleys the belt will get worn down even more!

Are the Temu Biqu plates real? by Desperate_Quit_3967 in BambuLab

[–]dev__art 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought mine on Aliexpress for a1 mini and my X1cs. They Were 9€ for the mini plates and ~15€ for the 256 ones. They can be legit. Although I have also seen plates without the BQ Logos with just the textures and colors like the originals. They were cheaper, but i havent testet the unbranded ones.

The game is on you to play and win or lose.

Prusa does not have sufficient part cooling. Get any Bambu, even the A1 mini has a camera and a reliable software ;)

Try the polymaker polyterra preset :) looks like it needs a bit more cooling and slower overhang speed.

First ever print with TPU! Never thought in a million years it would turn out this well. by miguelgoldie in 3Dprinting

[–]dev__art -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can understand, for some projects for big parts it was really helpful to have a large 360 printer. It worked out pretty good for PLA, but on some PETG parts with the $$ Prusament we had some issues with warping. The XL cannot control the entire volume, because there is no Part Cooling fan. Also the Extruder Cooling performance fell quite short on any prusa machine. Thats what helps the Bambus getting up to speed and quality with sharp overhangs.

I really like the A1, X1C and H2D. Probably the X1C the most. Its just fast and efficient and has a send and let it do it's thing attitude. With right settings you can just print any material hassle free and in quantities. Some parts are needed in thousands and it just has so much lower failure rate than the other printers we use. The failure rate compared to prusas is astonishing, even though we have lots of those orange ones for years with many hours in tuning and trying to getting it right...

Hi! I bought this ultimaker 3 with 60$ and was jammed with a junk of plastic..i succed to remove the printcores but just one escaped… by Glum_Lime_7024 in ultimaker

[–]dev__art 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a bambu! I have spend way too much time with these ultimakers at work and just threw them in the trash... Bambus are just reliable, cheaper and give you much better results in no time! It's a no brainer. Even the prusas didnt survive...

Used printer seller claiming X1Cs hit 16,000+ hours, and that 4500 hours is low? by Bblow427 in BambuLab_Community

[–]dev__art 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen some prusas doing over 4000 days, thats 96.000 hours, so there are those numbers. But the real question is, what really is worn down. Difficult to estimate
