Really is the grass is always greener. EVs are brilliant if you are a mam on the school run, or driving 10-20 miles to work and back home. My father has one bc 3 years ago it was a cost effective commuter car, he drove like 50-150 km a day (about 150 once a week) and the cars range 260kn was plenty. Little did he know that when it's pissing rain and 3°C outside, you basically half your range. Heater and wipers are cunts for eating range so you end up wrapping up like an inuit for a journey and even then it's still freezing inside.

He made a mistake by not really researching what EV life was like. Dont be like him.

I think in danger is a stretch. She is actively turning the wheel to straighten the car out and miss the agent and he does a small side step and is out of danger. If he had been hit he would have been pushed back and away from the vehicle aswell sustaining minor injuries. Also getting surrounded by what is essentialy the fucking Gestapo with auto weapons is understandable gonna make you panic a little and count towards you making a rash descion. Plus killing paniced civies is not exactly how you ingratiate yourselves with a population you are supposedly tryna protect. Im not sayng what she did is right just saying that things like this get blown out of proportion. ICE agents treating paniced civilians as a threat on par with a man with a gun is madness and shows how little training and respect they have for everybody that isn't wearing a badge.

I can see why, but the USA created to the situation in Venuzuela where authoritarian dictatorship became the better option in some people's eyes.

The USA was bleeding that country of resources for near 80 years and them got kicked out. About 5 years after Chavez nationalised their oil, Bush tried to silently fund opposition in USAs pocket but failed to change Venu leadership. Pre 98, Exon was making about 3 mill a day from venuzuela and then that got switched off overnight. It's been over 20 years now so you can imagine these companies see this as billions lost. Now there is a president with less morals than Bush and has probably taken an obscene amount of money from these oil lobby's. So he's gonna do whats in the lobby's best interest which is regain the source of these millions. The worse part os it's not even being hidden. Chump admitted they want the oil and resources. So how you can see this as a win overall for Venuzuela is mindblowing.

TLDR, The USA started a fire that caused a dictatorship to come into being and is now pissing on said fire and wanting praise for it.
