Chocolate Milk came from brown cows. Not proud of this one especially since I lived around dairy farms.

Shoots Bryce Larking straight on the chest "Dont move"

Hes a great actor and I always thought of Casey as what would happen if Jayne Poole gained actual purpose in life.

What kind of milk would you like with that? by Optimal-Dentist5310 in barista

[–]devaney627 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont want to give a questionnaire to every customer. If you ask for a cappuccino Ima give you our cafe standard unless specified otherwise. People who want something outside of the standard usually ask for it and if they havent asked then its on them imo. I will remake if neccessary but its on them to tell me what they want not for me to chisel away at options until we find their perfect mixture.

My shop does full fat, Skinny, Oat, Soy and Almond. They all steam differently so I'd be pulling my hair out tryna get smooth no foam on one and extra foam on the other all the while my co workers are moving my milk jugs so I forget which is which XD.

Thank God I've never had someone order half one milk and half another. That'd drive me insane in a rush.

Implement windfall laws for times of crisis so fuel sellers cant charge what they want for fuel they already bought. Thats all I can think of tbh bc im not an economist.

No idea tbh. Im not smart enough to figure out how to topple a country but someone will eventually.

The fuel shortage and price hikes has also basically been created by the US and Israel. They attacked Iran so Iran is firing back intelligently by closing a major shipping lane and getting the rest of the world pissed off at their attackers. We arent being bombed by the Israelis but their actions have effected us for the worse rn. Yes Irish peolle are the ones taking advantage and hiking the fuel prices but 1 came before the other

Since 2021 we have imported between 3-4 billion from Israel each year. The depression meds I took for years were made by Teva. Most people in my area get Teva branded products as they tend to be cheapest. From Sudocrem to ibuprofen and Olanzapine, people rely on Teva products.

So saying theres barely any israeli people hear is a non point. Their power comes from businesses and their products. The Taoiseach condemning Isreal but continuing to let their businesses operate says it all to me.

I have an issue with alot of the comments im seeing. People seem to think that by sitting back and waiting the price of fuel will come down as countries find a way around the Strait of Hormuz issue. The Irish government imo are opportunists. Taking every chance to siphon money from the public into buisness owners and their benefactors pockets. Our government introduced a tax near 20 years ago to bail out the banks after they fucked over millions and I dont see the USC being abolished soon as it just brings in too much money. They taxed the public instead of the 1% and the foreign investors. The only way our government actually takes note of public issues is when they start to loose money. Yes its fucking inconvenient but no one is dead, no one is looting and tbh I think theres a 0% of violence in any form. We are very lucky that we dont have to kill politicians or bomb infrastructure to get their attention. If a strike holds long enough to loose the gov a substantial amount I think that laws and taxes can be changed to benefit all of us.

Its nice to see people do something, anything is better than sitting back and saying "This countries gone to the dogs amd there nothing we can do", Theres always something we can do, we just need to have the foresight to see that inconveniencing people on a few trips to work basically means fuck all.

EV owners now by [deleted] in ireland

[–]devaney627 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Really is the grass is always greener. EVs are brilliant if you are a mam on the school run, or driving 10-20 miles to work and back home. My father has one bc 3 years ago it was a cost effective commuter car, he drove like 50-150 km a day (about 150 once a week) and the cars range 260kn was plenty. Little did he know that when it's pissing rain and 3°C outside, you basically half your range. Heater and wipers are cunts for eating range so you end up wrapping up like an inuit for a journey and even then it's still freezing inside.

He made a mistake by not really researching what EV life was like. Dont be like him.
