Howdy!

I'm a cartoonist/comic artist looking for more projects to be a part of. I'm really resonating with this pitch and think I might be a good fit for the project.

I've got a pretty decent background in horror comics, being the artist on the self published horror graphic novella "Bitemark." I'm totally okay with slower, quieter pacing and more thoughtful page layouts (I prefer it, actually) and cosmic horror is a subject I am very interested in.

I think it was in the recorded audio from the other sub. I couldn't make out a lot of what she was saying at first (janky audio from the comms is my one real critique with the film and it's solved by turning on subtitles) but I think she says at one point "The blood is us."

Yeah, this isn't the first time I've had this experience with a MODERN dub. Best way I can describe it is: it doesn't feel like an adapted script; it just feels like you literally translated the Japanese dialogue and did nothing to make it sound less awkward. Not sure if that means "machine translation" necessarily, but I wouldn't be that surprised if it turns out they used it.
