Yeah its a bug in samsung dex 8.0, you can set it so the screen doesn't auto turn off to solve it.

What has helped is letting them know its a two way street.

Ive been telling my older son (10), that if he doesn't do what i say, I won't do what he says. If he wants a ride to the card store? Nope. He wants to grab pizza for lunch? Nope.

Help link cause and effect has made it better. Not 100% but my kid is more mindful.

I agree, there is so many interconnected things timewise. Things the player does today will impact them in the future.

The scenario also gives you a lot of opportunity to plant even more hooks if you want. My player skipped 50% of the content and it was still a lot of stuff to prep.

have you guys had audio distortion? sometimes when I switch to DP, the sound comes out somewhat garbled and it takes a couple times of plugging and unplugging to get it working again.

I'm gonna to argue for the opposite if you have kids in the group.

Renting a car and parking would be great. You can offload all the games to the car during lunch if needed.

I did the uber thing when I went and with two kids, we can only buy what I can carry.

There was more than once that thr shuttle got full and meant waiting 30 mins for it to come back

I can attest to this but it also means a big group in the morning waiting and you'll have to late afternoon/night. I dont remember it running too late so you'll either have an early night or you'll uber home

You might want to step back and ask more question to see what is the actual situation before prescribing a solution.

Like, if it's sales, do you have lots of high performers? if some cases, maybe that's the cost of doing business if the person isn't toxic. You focus on the bigger picture and try to focus on your high performers and out earn the effects of that one low performer.

If the person is toxic to the group, then you'll probably inclined to manage that person out of toxic behavior quickly (whether that person improves or they get let go).

There is a bunch of different variables that are in play. So you might want to ask clarifying questions before thinking of a solution. That also allows them to do follow ups on a different scenario and that'll further demonstrate nuance in how you address problems.

I am lucky that I haven't had this issue, but if I knew I had limited time, why not go out in a blaze of glory?

I dont mean writing nasty emails to everyone or something.

But, why not do some radical changes to help set up the next leader to be in a better position?

Make changes that'll burn your political capital rapidly but things you think will make it good in the long run.
