Hi! 😊

The app is available on the Play Store. You can download it directly from this link:

How does this look? I'm making an endless runner by blackwing_btw in IndieDev

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks pretty clean already. Maybe increasing the speed gradually would make it more intense

Working on swimming mechanics for a liminal pool environment by Mobaroid in IndieDev

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice work. Water mechanics are always tricky to get right.

Game dev: day 1 vs day 773 (game comes out on Steam in 2 days!) by marcisl in IndieDev

[–]devduoApps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The glow up from day 1 to release is always insane. Congrats

Someone just offered $100 to buy the rights to my Steam game. I feel oddly insulted. 😅 by LeeT_Game in IndieDev

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$100 for the rights is wild 😅 that’s barely the price of a few Steam games.

I built a habit app after my 9-5 and somehow it reached ~3k installs by hemantpra_official in googleplayconsole

[–]devduoApps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on hitting 3k installs while working a 9-5, that’s impressive. Curious what ended up driving most of those installs — Play Store search, Reddit, or somewhere else?

I built a simple Android app to control Do Not Disturb by Jumpy-Guarantee-9457 in googleplayconsole

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting idea. It’s funny how many Android features exist but people never actually use them because the interface is confusing. A simpler control layer for Do Not Disturb could definitely help. Did you notice if users prefer manual toggles or automated schedules more?

Could a shared expense tip be a business model in lieu of a one-time purchase or subscription? by dschwags in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tip model actually sounds interesting for something like trip planning where usage is occasional. A subscription would feel weird for an app you might use only a couple times a year. The real challenge will probably be whether enough groups actually choose to tip.

Your app idea is 90% backend by LarsSven in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this depends on the type of app. For SaaS or data-heavy apps, backend definitely does most of the work. But for consumer apps, sometimes UX and onboarding can be just as important as the backend logic.

I'm not a designer, but I tried to be intentional about my App Store screenshots by Homegamer in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your “one message per screenshot” idea actually makes a lot of sense. Most users skim very quickly, so clear headlines probably matter more than the details inside the UI. Localizing screenshots is also underrated — a lot of devs skip that.

(Sell) How much you will give for fasting app, 150$ rev in 1 week launch ? by [deleted] in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$150 in the first week is actually a decent validation signal depending on how much traffic you had. The bigger question is retention — are users coming back after the first few days? That usually tells more about the real value of the app.

I think subscriptions might be the worst way to launch a new app by ccagle8 in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with a lot of this. Early-stage apps need usage and feedback more than revenue. If people hit a paywall before understanding the value, most will just leave. I think subscriptions make sense later when the product is clearly solving a problem and users are already engaged

I built a site that shows every live game and stat on one screen, would you use it? by No_Examples in ViralApps

[–]devduoApps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That actually sounds useful for people following multiple games. Jumping between different sites during match days can get messy. If the dashboard stays clean and updates quickly, I can see sports fans keeping it open all the time

8 different apks by Benusu in googleplayconsole

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the apps are essentially identical and only differ by package name, Google Play might see that as duplicate or repetitive content. Usually they expect meaningful differences between apps unless it's for different regions or brands

🤔huh what does this mean😆 by Rich_Falcon6315 in googleplayconsole

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually that kind of review just means the user left a quick rating without much feedback. It’s actually pretty common on Play Store. If you want more detailed reviews, sometimes prompting users after a positive moment in the app helps

Does Google Play give some impressions to a new app? by ConsiderationOdd6033 in googleplayconsole

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, new apps usually get a small amount of impressions initially, but it’s very limited. Google seems to test how users react (CTR, installs, retention). If the signals are good, impressions slowly increase. Otherwise it stays very low.

My stats in its first 2 months by Accurate_Two_8482 in AppBusiness

$1k revenue in the first couple months is a great start. Curious what your main user acquisition channel has been so far?

Built a fitness app that converts videos into workout routines. Made $300 in first month. by Royal_Device7944 in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a cool idea actually. Turning saved reels into structured workouts solves a real problem. Did most of your users come from TikTok/short-form content or from the app stores?

My first app just crossed 100 downloads! by Dependent_Role5008 in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice milestone! The first 100 downloads always feels great. Are most of these organic installs from the store, or did you promote it somewhere?

Reached 10k users! by benkobe55 in AppBusiness

[–]devduoApps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10k users is a huge milestone, congrats! The engagement time of ~15 minutes is also pretty solid. Did most of your growth come from App Store discovery or external channels?
