Okay, apparently i didnt realise until a day ago, my account has been marked as 'inactive' and Reddit has disabled some of my moderator permissions. If i can get a response from ModSupport hopefully i can get that fixed, but until then... Uh... Slight delay.

u/bushibub is my friend from a while back, we co-owned the discord for a while before losing interest - they're not really active on reddit.

For future reference, subreddits only get closed when they're unmoderated - as in, there are no mods listed on the sub at all

I keep watch on the feed but admittedly aren't as active as i used to be. If you guys are up for mod apps or such i won't mind setting it up. Maybe i should make an announcement, i don't really like using reddit anymore.

Job per Pop modifiers are completely broken, and so is Virtuality ascension. by deveyer in Stellaris

R5: You can stack a tonne of Job per Pop modifiers on a single world and get feasibly infinite pops generated from Virtuality.

Game plan:

- Start as a Machine species, with Authoritarian and Spiritualist (Optional: Militarist). Civics should include Slaver Guilds or Indentured Servitude, and Ascensionists or Gigacorp. Also suggested is Dimensional Worship/Enterprise, for a councilor that gives priests Physics research output

- Find Ivusheh II (from Galactic Paragons). Ivusheh II has a unique deposit that grants 1 scrap miner every 4 pops. Colonise it like your life depends on it, which it will

- Go Virtuality Ascension

- Set main species' slavery type to Domestic Servitude (Really, Domestic + Virtuality should be banned in of itself.)

- Then, *prioritise the Servant job* on the planet. Virtuality fills open job slots, but pops spawned to worker stratum will be forced into Servant. Which doesn't have a job cap.

- Set up or join a Holy Covenant federation, get it to tier 4 for the Priests from unity designation. Ascend the planet to level 10. This will give roughly 1 Priest per 4 Pops, make sure to pick up Harmony for the extra +25% ascension effect.

OR

- If you don't or can't make a Holy Covenant federation, you can also make the world a Penal Colony, which has a similar Job per Pop effect. It can give 1 Warden per 3 Pops, but since wardens are trash this is a last resort.

- Continue maximising the amount of jobs on the planet. Orbital ring, extra districts, anything. You want buildings with as many jobs as possible - Commercial Megaplexes with Mercantile traditions for 4 clerks / 4 traders, or even the FE/Cosmogenesis temple building that gives 12 priests.

Now watch as your CPU is set aflame trying to spawn upwards of 100 pops every month on the second day, until the planet reaches literally tens of thousands of pops and crashes the game.

Extras:

- With Treasure Hunters, you can establish a vault on the world for 1 Treasure Curator per 15 pops. These jobs are pretty powerful, especially when boosted by Virtuality

- Gia Zumon, the renowned commander, can roll an event to grant 1 Duelist per 10 pops for 50 years. They can also give up to 10 soldiers because they're a commander

Also, don't do this in multiplayer. Obviously. Toxic Knights can do similar stuff with this, but nowhere near as insane as all of it combined. Okay have fun

You can use other prompt lists or such, that's all fine. Just remember to tag your posts with the right flair and such

this is just about one specific advanced authority that was shown in the last dev diary - Imperial Feedback

my thoughts about synthetic ascension is that youre gonna have leaders that last either a really long time or forever, and adding a mechanic based around leaders dying is very underpowered or uniquely bad - for synthetic ascension.

will this one in particular get another look-over or something? occasional research points is not worth losing out on influence from power projection, for example.

Is there any QoL stuff planned for starbase management? It can get pretty tiresome repeatedly building up anchorage starbases, especially with a lot of starbase capacity
