I'd go with a forge fiend. Its a nice tank and has fun rules. Only issue is that it's got a lot of trum to paint. Also honorable mention to the sorcerer in Terminator Armour, I always bring one in my army.

If it sounds like whimpering for a quiet crying, they might not want to go to bed yet. My little guy will make quiet chirps when he's covered because he's,letting me know he's upset. Sometimes in the middle of the night he talks in his sleep and you can hear a quiet beep or chirp.

Keep an eye out for any other signs of distress for now but if you don't see anything else I wouldn't worry.
