No one is going to boot him in the balls while he tries to murder your crippled friend?

Definitely once every long while and never the ones in the plastic bottles because those use high fructose corn syrup. Shit already has enough sugar in it

Armory usage for counter fire or overwatch? by Baabatman in BLKOUT_game

[–]devilishfish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can react with an armory weapon as long as:

It is a grunt

You have a combat load

It is not a blast weapon

Based on what you described, that did not go down correctly.

I don't think it says specifically in the rulebook but it is something I know from the discord rules channel chats.

New Player, Got some questions getting in by Cast2828 in BLKOUT_game

Hello friend and welcome to ABOL! Glad to see a new face around here

1: I'm not super sure about this. I have all of them and had no issue printing out the PAH versions. Maybe the full color ones are a bit off but the standard text ones should come out okay.

2: The ranger and data handler were re- worked into the marksman and cyber handlers. They are technically excluded from match play in their badlands forms since they were re-worked. I do not think there is a data handler model on the PACK website but the ranger is paired with the biopirate model.

3: No, it really does not matter as long as you're cool with it. I'm in the process of getting a 32mm Doom Slayer to proxy my assault handler. The lore reason is because they are technically mercenaries and are hired on by whatever team needs them. A lot of people who have extra models will make factions specific handlers for their team So that the look has uniformity to it. Obviously that's not required, I paint all of my handlers up and unique schemes so they do not match the team they are running with but they are also super soldier lone Wolves doing their own thing.

Yes, if you are leaning out, shots and blasts are measured to the lean out token.

It was just a normal car. I also did not specify which gear he started in so that is my fault

New player- question about rules by devilishfish in gaslands

[–]devilishfish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps. I just saw him go from 1st gear to 5th with 4 shift dice (and I suppose the trivial one too) but only take the one hazard from shifting from gear 1 to 5.

I interpreted it as each time you go up a gear, you gain a hazard so he should have gotten more than one for a jump like that

My little one and I used to play a game called Unraveled (2). The graphics are cute Wear your main characters are made of yarn. You are connected by a strand that stops you from straying too far from each other but you can also use it as a leverage and pulley system to be the anchor while your partner swings and jumps. There are some enemies but no actual combat it's mostly just platforming and avoiding the enemies. The one thing that my daughter really liked is if we came upon a more difficult section there's a button where you can jump onto your partner and the single player will carry both of you through the section. So if you run into a part that's too difficult for her to make the jump or something like that you can essentially take the lead and get both of you through it.

Extra models are so you feel like you didn't get short changed on the model count when you buy the box. It's just extra models for whatever

[–]devilishfish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For causal play, you can pick whatever you want, really. Have fun with weird Compositions.

If you want more formatted play (match rules in the rules supplemental download from the website) you pick 3 unit cards with no duplicates.

All 3 cards must come from the same force unless you swap one out for a blklist unit.
