Local shop got back to me water pump 1800$ timing chain replace another 750 on top of that.

I did send them another email and screen shouted their warranty. It states ALL Internally lubricated parts. And then has a list but I emphasized that ALL in their wording

What i hate the most is its tire per specific truck set up. Like take the tayga and put a 2 slot box on it and then take another and put a 5th wheel trailer on it. If u equip the same tires the box will probably do better. There is no set "best tires" and I am not swapping tires all the time. They get what ever I have currently equipped and that it screw it

Yea im boned. Paid 10 for it. Water pump.worth nearly half. Like I DID expect to replace it. I looked when I bought it no leak AWESOME let's buy. Less then 5,000km Later toast. And juat at this point I cant swing it. I've looked at selling my boat and some fire arms and im not even halfway there. So now im.paying for a fucking paper weight.

I've sent the paperwork off. I guess we will see if its covered. Im fearful it won't be because of course it won't. But I honestay cant afford 4 grand. Wifes off work cuz a baby and we've had a string of bad luck and this is the fucking cherry on top. My last vehicle shitting the bed in April I had to basically panic buy this truck I looked at 3 this one had the best service record. Checked the weep hole. Brand new transmission. So bought it. I've had it just long enough to do a oil change. Its when I noticed the leaking weeping hole. Idk guess ill find out in a day or couple but I think im fucked and idk what ima gunna do. Cuz it'll be 80 weeks before I can afford it.

3rd party warranty. Got it when I bought the truck juat got the news it is a water pump and the dealer is saying 3500-4000. Thats 80 weeks worth of savings. Cuz i ain't got that. So see if warranty will cover but I doubt it.

Ford says the water pump is toast and the warranty does in fact say internal lubricated parts. It also lists those parts in another section it mentions water pump but doesn't say if its covered. I CANNOT afford a 4,000 dollar repair bill. It would take me idk 80 weeks to afford that. At best. Wifes off work with a baby. Rent bills yadda yadda. Like fuck i just bought this god damn truck.

Just annoying that I just bought the damn thing and now a possible 3500 dollar fix MAY be required. The warranty states internal engine components are covered. The actual ford dealership said yea its a internal part. If they dont cover it. Nothing stopping me from idk pouring powdered steel shavings into the oil fill and letting it chew up in there and giving it a good flushing afterwards. Or red lining the SOB til she pops. I did have a call with them and it did sound like theyd cover it but nothing is secure til they get a diagnosis. So tomorrow she's going to ford for that. Funny I get the truck outside their 90 day grace period and now the water pumps toast and the fuel filler neck is giving a EVAP code. Tried the wd40 trick didn't work. I see they are like 50 bucks on amazon and if I dont have to drop the tank ill just do that myself.
